Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

As a Rental Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling rental services to potential customers. You will utilize your exceptional communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their rental needs are met efficiently and effectively.The role of a sales representative is to provide excellent customer service to both potential and existing customers, ensuring that every event is a memorable experience. The team member is responsible for assisting clients through the company's inventory offerings and ordering process, primarily via phone calls and in-store interactions. On a daily basis, the sales representative also handles tasks such as making reservations, answering customer questions, processing contracts, and making adjustments to orders.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential clients to promote rental services.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with the rental operations team to ensure smooth execution of rental agreements.
• Prepare and present rental proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits of our services.
• Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment with the authority to make recommendations and independent choices
• Assisting customers with their event rental needs
• Accurately recording and communicating customer orders
• Event Planning and floorplans
• Answering phones
• Meeting with clients in the showroom
• Entering new orders or modifying existing orders using the computer system
• Processing payments for orders
• Coordinating jobs with the Dispatch Team to ensure event success

Requirements:

• Must have 5 years experience in sales roles, preferably in the rental industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of rental equipment and services is a plus.
• Must thrive under pressure and be task oriented
• Must be efficient in working with Google suites, Microsoft Office Excel & other computer based programs
• Must be computer literate
• High School Diploma or higher

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
