Primary Function:

As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses used in the agricultural, construction, and defense industries. This position will combine and route wires, attach connectors, bind wires, and place split loom over wires. No day is the same, as this position will encounter different builds each day.

Purpose:
Assist in the development of new product quotes and provide customer service and support as needed.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Customer contact for quote requests
  • Assist sales in creating accurate quotes
  • Conduit between outside sales and rest of sales team
  • Manage and track quoting projects
  • Level II Customer Service - Respond appropriately and in a timely manner to customer inquires

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Accurately interpret customer specifications such as drawings, bills of material, and standards.
  • Outline quote based on process analysis and materials pricing establish lead times
  • Track customer communication and ensure responses are accurate and timely.
  • Follow up and track quotes
  • Responsible for requotes
  • Perform some data entry and creation of electronic part record in ERP

Skills and experience:

Required:

  • Strong office computing skills.
  • Experience using an ERP software package.
  • Interpersonal communication and customer care skills.

Preferred:

  • Ability to analyze technical drawings.
  • Previous electrical quoting and inside sales.
