SCOPE
The Business Development Marketing Manager will be responsible for all marketing efforts to enhance brand recognition and drive the growth of the company's products and services. Specifically, this role will create and operate a marketing engine that will scout, vet, and secure new opportunities in alignment with the company's sales and growth strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and manage marketing programs to include extensive and in-depth use of lead generation techniques, social media, e-blasts, direct marketing, cold calling, email campaign list management and tracking. This role requires familiarity with databases and advanced proficiency in Excel for tracking and analytics.
- Research, develop, and implement innovative and strategic marketing campaigns aimed at generating sales opportunities and driving growth.
- Effectively communicate the company's technical competencies and capabilities as it relates to solving customer problems and needs. (Technical competency needed)
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to align all marketing efforts.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate trade show events.
- Serve as the website / social media administrator.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the team's overall success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly self-motivated with proven success in working autonomously.
- 5+ years marketing experience with a strong focus on lead generation.
- Marketing degree required, or a technical degree with relevant marketing experience. Degrees in engineering or engineering technology is a plus!
- Previous experience in creating and managing marketing campaigns required.
- Proficient in graphic design is preferred but not required.
- Strong digital marketing experience.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional and articulate in both speech and writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Photo/Graphics Software
- Detail-oriented team player.
- Visionary thinker with an interest in navigating Industry 4.0 and the energy transition in a responsible and profitable manner.
