As Sales Operations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, taking ownership of our sales operations and team development. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on interaction, involving both sales pipeline management and direct client engagement. You will be instrumental in driving growth, building customer relationships, and optimizing our sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead sales strategies to increase client acquisition and retention.
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring seamless client experience.
- Build and nurture client relationships, focusing on understanding their renovation goals and aligning them with our services.
- Train and mentor new sales team members, cultivating a supportive and high-performing sales environment.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate project scoping and realistic timelines.
- Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies to meet sales targets.
- Present and negotiate client proposals, balancing client needs with business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, construction best practices, and sales techniques.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations or management, ideally within the construction or renovation industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, especially regarding home renovations and remodeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship building.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in sales CRM systems, project management tools, and data analysis. Construction management software experience, such as JobTread, is a huge plus.
Salary & Benefits
- Full-Time Position
- Competitive base salary of $60,000 - $80,000 plus performance-based commission. On-target earnings (OTE) for this role of $160,000 annually.
