Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving volume and profit growth using a balanced approach of new business and account management for existing clients within the territory. The Inside Sales Representative will consistently and effectively deliver the Parksite value proposition to dealer customer in an effort to reach sales and profit goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
New Business Development:
- Responsible for aggressively developing new business within their territory
- Maintain a complete and accurate contact database for every customer within their territory (product specific, email address, phone numbers)
- Responsible for aggressively promoting new products utilizing digital marketing tools and techniques
- Distributing digital marketing leads to appropriate territory manager through follow up activities
- Drive awareness for product opportunities via webinar/conference calls
- Execute and implement company promotions/programs
- Priority placed on reaching daily, weekly sales and profit goals
- Actively up selling and cross sell products and programs to customers over the phone
Account Management:
- Responsible for servicing and supporting existing dealer business
- Using active listening and sales techniques to identify customer product needs / provide solutions
- Working in conjunction with the territory manager to provide best possible account coverage
- Achieving product and territory knowledge essential to building customer relationships
- Continue building strong relationships within existing customer thought email/phone
- Actively recording data and activities with customer / prospects in Salesforce
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills both in person and virtually
- Self-motivated and functions well independently as well as within in a team
- Comfortable in multi-tasking environment
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Microsoft Office including hosting presentation
- Have strong closing skills with customers and follow up on commitments
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and analyze key, market, customer, and competitive trends.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or industry experience equivalent
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in customer facing sales within building products industry
- Have direct exposure in resolving customer concerns
- Experience with direct customer contact selling building products
- Understanding of building installation process
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office environment – team orientated selling
