Job Description

Sales Account Executive – Two-way Radio Systems Solutions

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of closing deals with top-tier corporations and midsized firms? If so, we're looking for you! We expect you to earn $150,000 or more in your first year.

As an Account Executive at Golden State Communications, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for our innovative Two-way Radio Systems solutions business. You'll need to be self-motivated, able to work independently, and open to feedback to achieve your sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect via telephone, email, social media, meetings, and other methodologies that most effectively help you fill and maintain your sales pipeline

  • Research companies, identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers

  • Update your sales progress in our CRM daily, and provide accurate insights into financial data of sales and project opportunities (accurately forecast)

  • Understand the prospect’s issues and deliver valuable communication/security solutions

  • Apply GSC’s sales methodologies and knowledge of products and services to address complex project and sales opportunities

  • Collaborate across departments and team members to ensure opportunities and solutions can be effectively sold and implemented

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products and services offered by GSC and complete partner led online training to improve technical and product knowledge

  • Establish and nurture strong connections with clients to encourage them to recommend our services to others and expand your professional network.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technical training.

Qualifications:

  • You must have sales/business development experience, with a record of meeting and exceeding goals

  • You possess a working knowledge of security/communication systems, radio/walkie-talkies, or on-site mobile communications solutions

  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies, e.g., RF, LTE, DMR, P25, etc a plus

  • You have success selling in corporate environment at a C-suite and mid-level management

  • You have experience in tracking and reporting on sales activities and goals

  • You embrace training, take responsibility for your actions, and can be coached toward improvement when necessary

  • You have excellent problem-solving skills

  • You can work with minimal supervision and because of that, you also have high integrity – you do what you say you’re going to do

  • You are goal oriented and have evidence of reaching ambitious goals through tactical planning, effective execution, and the ability to learn and adapt from your mistakes

  • You are willing and able to travel to prospects during workday

  • Must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pass our background review.

Compensation:

  • 88K base salary + commission. Expectation that first year total earnings should reach $150,000

  • Benefits package (401k, medical, dental, vacation)

  • Remote Possible
