Responsibilities:

  • Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
  • Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
  • Sell Farmers products and services to help customers meet their needs
  • Build and lead a successful team

Farmers Insurance offers unique entry points designed for candidates who are already established professionals poised to make an investment into their future business success.

Agency Acquisition Program: Existing books of business available in the Waco, TX market. This opportunity is ideal for highly capitalized, seasoned business professionals looking to acquire existing agencies, execute value-add initiatives and scale a business. Our District team will coach, train and develpop you as you acquire and take over ownership of your own Farmers Insurance Agency office. New Acquisition Agents will receive additional support from Farmers Insurance via bonus programs, such as:

  • $5,000 Sign-on Bonus
  • Up to $6,000 for office branding and signage
  • Opportunity to earn up to $500/month in marketing credits
  • 1 time graduation bonus upon completion of Acqusition Bonus program (*subject to individual sales performance)
  • Additional bonus opportunities per individual line of business, Annual Premium Growth, etc.

Retail Agency Program: Designed to attract well capitalized, seasoned business and/or sales professionals seeking a start-up opportunity that maximizes their ROI and provides the financial support to rapidly grow through a proven business model. This program offers the most lucrative bonus structure in the Insurance industry, for new agents! Qualified applicants will have a high business acumen and a structured "go-to-market" plan that will focus on maximizing new business development. Earn sign-on bonuses, branding bonuses, monthly marketing bonuses, annual bonuses, and an enhanced compensation program that pays up to 300% bonus on new business commissions!

  • Farmers Insurance average investment is $450,000 in bonus compensation over first 3 years, and the average New Agency Owner earns in excess of $250,000.
  • This opportunity is designed for experienced business owners, executives, and sales directors. Individuals with a history of sales, operations, and management experience may also be a great candidate for this program.

District 32 currently has several agency opportunities in, and around, the Greater Waco Area. We will work with you to determine appropriate Agency location(s).

How do you qualify? Let's take a look:

  • Licensing IS required. General Lines Property & Casualty PLUS General Lines Life & Health should be obtained within 45 days of joining us. Don't worry...we'll help you get licensed!
  • PROFESSIONALLY SUCCESSFUL & STABLE with MINIMUM 3+ years of high-level sales experience
  • Minimum liquidity may be required depending on the agency program
  • Self employment experience desired but not required
  • College degree preferred
  • Competitive and driven to achieve
  • Responsible, disciplined, and accountable with high degree of integrity
