Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales/Marketing Support Team Member to join our growing team at Innovative Stonecraft. This role is pivotal in supporting our sales team’s efforts and amplifying our brand presence through effective marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to streamline processes, engage with customers, and contribute to impactful marketing campaigns. You will report to the Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team in managing and tracking leads through CRM, ensuring accurate records of interactions and follow-ups.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries, coordinating with sales representatives to provide relevant information and samples.
- Prepare and maintain sales documentation, quotes, and sales orders.
- Manage orders from initial inquiry through to delivery, coordinating with the warehouse and logistics teams.
Marketing Support
- Support the development and scheduling of content across social media platforms, keeping our brand message consistent and engaging.
- Assist in the coordination and promotion of trade shows, open houses, and other promotional events. This may include travel to attend trade shows as an exhibitor with other sales team members.
- Create and update product catalogs, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Monitor social media engagement, report on campaign performance, and provide insights to the marketing team for future content development.
Customer Engagement
- Communicate with customers to gather feedback, testimonials, and referrals.
- Support the creation and dissemination of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized records for sales and marketing activities.
- Support the preparation of reports on sales performance and marketing reach.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management.
Preferred Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or marketing support role, preferably in the building materials or home improvement industry.
- Post Secondary Education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business Administration.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $20/hour paid on a salary basis.
