Department Pathology, Microbiology & Immunology 50000521 Business Unit College of Medicine Reg-Temp Full-Time Regular Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM; occasional evenings and/or weekends due to travel Remote/Telecommuting Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site) Position Summary
To provide account sales, traditional and social media marketing, account management and project management to new and existing Regional Pathology Services clients. Responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with clients to drive revenue growth, while exceeding client expectations, including physicians, hospitals, reference laboratories and home health agencies regionally and nationally to provide laboratory testing services, and the highest level of customer service. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the pathology laboratory landscape.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology or related field.

Required Experience
3 years

Medical and/or laboratory sales including related marketing and account management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle client issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Advanced industry specific knowledge e.g (Molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics etc..).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growth.
  • Advanced skills in analyzing sales data, and client feedback surveys.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for conducting high stakes meetings and presentations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple client projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through innovative thinking.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
