Inside Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers and potential customers to manage customer calls, quote requests, product inquiries, and any other product or sales related questions.
- Work with the senior sales team to develop a business sales plan and account strategy.
- Build, Manage and Grow the inside sales opportunity funnel.
- Proactively communicate with the sales manager on activities, market trends, opportunities and forecast. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills within Sycamore Life Sciences and externally with customers.
- Learn technical aspects of the product portfolio and learn to demonstrate products.
- Work closely and in harmony with our Technical Team, Outside and Field Sales Team, Customer Service, Marketing, and other Sycamore personnel as needed to meet sales goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Preferred.
- Ability to effectively interact with other disciplines within the Company such as Marketing, Customer Service, Sales Support, and other divisions.
- Strong analytical, spreadsheet, and creative skills.
- Ability to develop technical knowledge of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Preference will be given to applicants with background in any of the following industries: Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology, or Chemistry.
