The Business Development Representative plays a vital role in securing business in both inbound and outbound capacities. This position uses the internal database and CRM to service and prospect accounts to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. We are seeking an energetic and motivated sales professional who can drive sales through up selling and offer superior customer service that meets each customer unique expectation.

Your Role & Responsibilities as L2’s Business Development Representative:
- Meet monthly and annual sales goals.
- Manage daily sales call/email activity, inbound but primarily outbound, according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales in a timely manner.
- Invest the appropriate amount of time in pre call/email planning to ensure the highest quality of information is shared to engage the customers and have a clear objective.
- Persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology, and approved messaging and promotional aids.
- Target and maintain all customers and deals using HubSpot, L2’s CRM system, to record full communication flow and strategy.
- Reports all relevant information into the CRM system on a timely basis.
- Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers with the expectations to cross sell products to increase purchase amounts.
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge in all categories. Maintain thorough knowledge of L2 Brands product(s) and programs.
- Create and maintain a positive impression with customers. Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
- Ensure order entry in L2 Systems is within compliance of company standards.
- Resolve payment discrepancies on slow pay accounts.
- Adhere to and communicate brand standards when necessary.
- Actively sell last call/liquidation product.
- Ability to travel to tradeshows and key customers when necessary.
- Other projects as assigned by the manager.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years inside sales experience required.
- Education: 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred.
- CRM/HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Custom Decoration Industry Experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Suite Proficiency is required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude.
