We are hiring a talented Business Development Representative to join our team and generate new business. We're committed to assisting family owned businesses sell their company and continue their legacy through the transition. Your job is to find business owners who want to sell their company. This is an incredibly lucrative opportunity. I'm willing to take on entry level people and train them in our weekly meetings.
We have an office in Rockford, Illinois where you will be working. There is also the option to work remotely from home. I will also be opening an office location in South Florida as well.
Responsibilities for Business Development Representative
-Send 100-200 outbound calls/messages per day, via Linkedin, E-mail, and phone.
-Keep track of a list of leads, and the stage that they are in
-Book calendar appointments for your Account Executive
-Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
-Anticipate needs by studying the businesses we serve and conducting market research to identify new leads
-Support sales manager on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
-Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up
-Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
-Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
-Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
Qualifications for Sales Development Representative
-Flawless communication skills, both written and oral
-Knowledge of business or the ability to learn quickly
-Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
-Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
-Have experience using Google, Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
-Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
-You love finding business, using market research, and focusing on continued learning and improvement
-Thorough understanding of various industry nuances to successfully establish rapport with prospects
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
