Shermco Canada is seeking a motivated and safety minded Apprentice Electrician to join our Saskatchewan Electrical Services team in Regina. Our Electrical Services team provides electrical construction, maintenance, and specialty services and solutions to our many clients in industrial sectors such as Utility, Mining, Oil & Gas, Technology and many more. From 24v to 230kV, our team does it all.

Shermco Canada is seeking a 1st-year and 2nd-year Apprentice to join our Electrical Services in Saskatoon.
Apprentice Electrician
Job Responsibilities:
• Construct, alter, repair, and maintain all electric components that are integral to the operations of industrial activities and electrical systems
• Install new and maintain low and high voltage equipment
• Work in industrial work settings
• Work around energized power and control equipment
• Determine appropriate selection of materials
• Contribute to the execution of completing work safety
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Registered electrical apprentice
• Experience in industrial or commercial setting considered an asset
• Industrial facility safe work qualifications considered asset
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract
• Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements
Other Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Should be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Calm, positive attitude under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• An aptitude and willingness to learn and proven initiative
