The Head of Inventory Lease and Service Solutions will work together with all regional sales VPs/SVPs globally or outside business unit leaders to sell and manage all aspects of inventory leasing, consignment, repair management, teardown management, asset acquisition, financial modeling, and creative inventory solutions required by global customers. The position will also work concurrently with the President of the Flight Solutions Group (FSG) finance as well as the CFO of GA Telesis deciding how to best utilize company credit vehicles for said aviation inventory solutions. The goal of the position will be to drive sale and inventory consignment, leaseback opportunities, and all creative supply chain solutions within the aviation aftermarket to soundly increase revenue and margin objectives within FSG.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong familiarity and experience in underwriting, evaluating, pricing, and structuring equipment operating lease transactions to mitigate risk and provide appropriate risk/reward pre-tax, pre-leverage transaction yields.
  • Understanding of initial provisioning/main base pre-draw kits rotatable, expendable, and life-limited commercial airframe and engine part inventories, and ability to identify and evaluate list price, market value, depreciated value, and future value.
  • Ability to review and convey consignment opportunities on behalf of the customer and provide proposals to manage such assets on their behalf.
  • Ability to manage and acquire full assets for the group’s needs.
  • Provide repair management and teardown analysis for both full assets and individual components to provide a comprehensive support plan to customers.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills to make recommendations to senior management taking into consideration operations, capital markets, legal, accounting, asset lease management, jurisdictional issues, competitors, customer requirements, and company risk preferences and capital availability and goal alignment.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver sales presentations, creatively structure operating and finance lease and SLB solutions to address customer needs, prepare term sheets, and review draft purchase and lease documentation, and an extensive network of contacts to originate new opportunities with airlines, MROs, and OEMs.
  • Travel to customers 40%-50% of the time.
  • Strong Excel modeling of lease and debt financing cash flows, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Capital market relationships to provide alternative financing solutions, and experience in understanding prevailing discount rates, pricing, labor sensitivity, interest rate protection, and collateral security packages.
  • Creativity in structuring transactions, and strong cross-border/multi-cultural negotiation skills. Savvy knowledge of push/pull dynamics in lease transaction negotiations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4 Year bachelor’s degree in finance or economics or equivalent
  • Outstanding skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence decision-making with key statistical data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business units and regions
  • Ability to present data to senior-level management and C Suite
  • Impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality
  • Aviation industry experience a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing data within Salesforce
  • Experience in Structured Finance Vehicles or Special Purpose Finance Vehicles
  • Significant Airline CFO contacts within the Aviation community
