EDI Functional Business Analyst - GPS
Are you an EDI subject matter expert with technical/functional experience?
Work you'll do.
Work closely with Business SMEs, owners to researches on issues, to ensure business needs are captured, prioritized, and understood to manage stakeholder expectations
Assist with requirement gathering for EDI transactions and functional design sessions.
Assist with the creation of the Requirements Specific Document (RSD) and the Detailed System Development document (DSD)
EDI mapping transactions
Preparing questionnaires & surveys for client
Requirement gathering
Research to ensure business needs are captured, prioritized, and understood
Manage stakeholder expectations
Assists in the analysis of the functional business requirements and implementation details with Technical SMEs
The team
Our Digital Health team implements repeatable solutions to solve our government clients' most critical health technology related issues. We advise on, design, implement and deploy solutions focused on government health agencies "heart of the business" issues including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics and health case management.
Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to leverage reusable, interoperable and flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve health outcomes and respond to public health crises. Professionals will use their deep health, government, and technology consulting experience to strategically help solve our client's technology challenges.

Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ Years:
- Health IT experience (primarily concentrated in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) X12 standard healthcare transaction exchanges)
- Experience leading the requirements and functional design sessions
- Experience EDI mapping
- Experience preparing questionnaires & surveys for client
- Knowledge of different HIPAA Transactions (ex. 837, 270/271,835,834,PACDRs,276/277 etc.) and Code Sets & Identifiers
- Experience assisting in the analysis of the functional business requirements and implementation details
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 25-50% (1-2 weeks a month)

Bachelors Degee
Desired: - Experience in Medicaid, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) modules
- Knowledge of FHIR , HL7 industry standards
