Your Mission

As an Account Executive at SADA, you will play a critical role in the Customer Growth Organization, focusing on delivering solutions, services, and customer outcomes. You will build trusted relationships with c-suite and decision-makers to sell business-transforming solutions and services that enable our enterprise customers to be at the cutting edge of cloud computing. You will be customer-centric, always searching for a way to help them unlock business value within their organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with strategic customer base to help influence their long-term technology and business decisions. Add value and be viewed as a trusted advisor by bringing compelling insights and ideas with follow-through execution.
  • Be the CEO of the sales process by masterfully orchestrating internal resources, including Cloud Engineers, Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Executive Sponsors, and more.
  • Lead detailed account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple lines of business, including Google, maximizing business impact and opening up opportunities with large enterprise customers.
  • Be viewed as a trusted advisor by bringing compelling insights and ideas with follow-through execution.
  • Run and manage a complex global account(s) with multiple opportunities across different functions with forecast and budgetary accuracy, serving as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
  • Bring consultative sales experience in order to gain credibility with net new customers, uncover new opportunities within existing customers, and ultimately increase SADA's wallet share.
  • Identify leads and close sales with existing and greenfield accounts, leading with solutions and professional services.
  • Share the WHY SADA value proposition for existing and/or new customers.
  • Build a robust pipeline consisting of large and medium size deals to ensure you achieve both your bookings and revenue target.
  • Create and communicate your sales forecast, including sales pipeline status and potential to achieve target bookings, as well as upside and downside risks to achieving target bookings.

Expectations

Required Travel - 25% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.

Customer Facing - You represent SADA when interacting with the customer and are expected to demonstrate our Core Values in all interactions. You must establish an effective working relationship with other internal departments to create exceptional experiences for our customers.

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and establishing key relationships. You will receive a customized employee development plan to help you excel in your current position and reach your career goals.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in quota carrying software sales and strategic account management at an enterprise B2B software company, selling to enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to lead the development and execution of the overall long-term strategy for an account, aligned to customer business objectives.
  • Experience in selling professional and/or managed services in the technology industry.
  • Track record of success with large complex commercial and legal facilitations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling Google Cloud products and services or other public cloud offerings.
  • Confident and comfortable in board-room scenarios, providing advice to senior leadership and secure trusted advisor status.
  • Experience in value selling. You will be able to run Discovery sessions with multiple lines of business to understand customer pain points and business objectives.
