We offer a unique dining experience with a focus on high-quality ingredients, local wines, and curated spirit nights that bring people together. Our upcoming and monthly events, including Holiday Celebrations (restaurant buyouts), Winemaker's Dinners, and Spirit Nights, are the heart of our business, and we’re looking for a motivated and passionate Sales Representative to help us sell these special events and grow our customer base.

Job Overview:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling The Cozy Taberna’s private events, including holiday buyouts, Winemaker’s Dinners, and Spirit Nights, to individuals, groups, and corporate clients. This role requires a dynamic, personable, and proactive individual who is enthusiastic about selling our brand and crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment, is passionate about food and wine, and enjoys working in a collaborative, hospitality-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Outreach:

  • Proactively prospect new clients and reach out to past customers to promote upcoming events (Holiday Parties, Winemaker’s Dinners, Spirit Nights).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, event planners, and individual customers.
  • Conduct outreach via phone calls, email, and in-person visits to generate interest in our events.
  • Actively network and build connections within the community to promote The Cozy Taberna’s unique offerings.

Event Consultation:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets for holiday events, wine dinners, and spirit nights.
  • Provide tailored recommendations for event packages, including menu selections, wine pairings, décor, and entertainment.
  • Coordinate event details with the restaurant team, ensuring all logistics are seamless and executed according to client expectations.

Sales Targets & Reporting:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals for private events.
  • Track sales leads, conversions, and event details.
  • Provide regular reports to the Owner on sales performance and upcoming opportunities.

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of promotional campaigns to market seasonal events.
  • Represent The Cozy Taberna at local community events and business networking groups to build brand awareness.

Customer Service & Event Support:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service from the initial inquiry through event execution.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and restaurant team to guarantee smooth event coordination and execution.
  • Attend events as needed to ensure everything runs smoothly and address any client needs.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong understanding of food, wine, and spirits is highly preferred, especially as it relates to hosting dinners and events.
  • Previous event planning or event sales experience is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Energetic, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
