Ibotta is seeking an Account Executive, New Business to join our General Merchandise (GM) team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to make a significant impact in the general merchandise industry. You will be empowered to leverage your prospecting and business development skills to identify, qualify, and engage with major brands, introducing them to our innovative platform and forging lucrative partnerships.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

- Identify, qualify, and reach out to potential clients through various channels (email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns to generate leads and opportunities
- Manage a high volume of outreach activities and maintain a healthy pipeline
- Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Ibotta’s value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to acquire new clients
- Proactively address client needs and concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Track sales performance and pipeline metrics
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, technical) to deliver comprehensive digital marketing solutions
- Share best practices and insights with the sales team to improve overall performance
- Travel up to 40%

What we are looking for:
- 2-4 years of experience in a data-driven sales role
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG, General Merchandise, or Retail preferred
- Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) and to navigate potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (candidates do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
- Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
- Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
- Total hiring compensation range: $81,000-$104,000. Equity is granted in addition to the overall compensation package. This range is inclusive of a base range and a variable bonus. Talk to your recruiter to learn more! This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
