The Inside Sales representative works cooperatively with Branch Managers, Outside Sales, Counter Sales, Purchasing, current and new Falk customers and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customer accounts and to generate new sales.

1. Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.

2. Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.

3. Research products, recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.

4. Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers profitability profile.

5. Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns.

6. Provide accurate information referring availability of in stock items.

7. Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of deliver.

8. Proactively recommend items needed by the customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.

9. Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.

10. Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the distribution team.

11. Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for product.

12. Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal, and other common office equipment software.

13. Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.

14. Courteously assist customers in the selection and acquisition of needed products.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.

· Good understanding of technology

· Good understanding of office software

· Good communication skills

· Customer service skills

· Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to supervisor and solicits feedback to improve performance.

· High School or GED required and/or

· 1-year experience in sales

· Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
