Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Development professional to join the GoPest team. This role is essential in providing effective pest management solutions to our clients, ensuring their environments are safe and pest-free. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer relationship skills and be able to navigate various challenges in the field while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Schedule and conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues.
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on client needs and environmental considerations. Measure and diagram homes and businesses accurately to determine cost of services.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using safe and effective methods.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and follow-up actions.
- Negotiate service agreements and provide recommendations for ongoing pest management strategies.
- Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to ensure timely service delivery.
- Utilize software tools for tracking customer interactions and managing business development opportunities.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding service options.
- Self-starter who can work independently.
- Sales acumen to promote services and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Familiarity with software applications relevant to the pest control industry, including project management tools.
- Excellent math and problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges in the field efficiently.
- A proactive approach to business development, seeking out new clients while maintaining current relationships.
Compensation:
- Base Salary plus commission - DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
