Old Redford Academy is hiring a full time State and Federal Programs Coordinator.
Old Redford Academy has new leadership, new direction and a new commitment to academic excellence. The academy is a tuition free, Pre-K to 12th grade academy that offers highly qualified teachers, free transportation, one-to-one student technology, an expansive athletic program, and a rigorous curriculum that is both standards based and culturally responsive.
The Programs Coordinator, coordinates the planning and successful delivery of Title I and 31A supplemental instructional services to students assuring access to optimal extended learning experiences. Develops and oversees research and evidence-based MTSS and intervention programs, protocols, and processes. Assists with grant development and consolidated application alignment to MICIP.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Maintain current knowledge of best practices, trends, and new developments in the provision of Title I and 31A supplemental instructional services
Demonstrate knowledge of best practices for increased learning including instructional strategies and available resources
Provide support in the installation of high-quality subject-specific instructional visions at scale.
Work positively toward meeting identified district and building improvement goals
Plan and participate fully in professional development for interventionists
Assist in aligning data and extended learning opportunities including tutoring programs.
Ensure the development of Individualized Student Learning Plans to ensure that students can successfully participate in Tier One learning activities.
Develop Title I educational plans to improve individual student achievement
Develop and execute extended learning opportunities including but not limited to WIN Time and Advisory.
Provide guidance and support to teachers in improving student performance including interpretation and utilization of student data and development of subsequent action plan(s)
Create and execute an annual parent involvement plan including the annual Title I parent meeting and related parent workshops
Assist with other grant opportunities including application, implementation, and reporting as needed requirements (usage of funds, documentation, and reporting, etc)
Oversee the coordination of state-mandated testing and local assessments throughout the district.
Monitor and report student data in compliance with Title I, Title II, and 31a
Serve as primary contact to the Michigan Department of Education on matters related to state and federal funds
Coordinate with CS Partners Grant Manager
Support the school improvement process at the district level
Assure compliance of assigned areas of responsibility with Title I regulatory requirements, Old Redford Academy mission, vision, and strategic plan
Coordinate the identification of students eligible for Title I and 31A services
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree. Educational Leadership Certification preferred.
- Prior experience with Title 1, 31a, and grants management
- Prior instructional leadership experience preferred
- Prior experience with MTSS program implementation
Prior experience with successful Title I and other state audits highly preferred 5+ years of K-12 classroom teaching experience required
- Demonstrated data analysis skills.
Passion for education and sense of urgency relative to student improvement Prior turnaround experience highly preferred
- Complies with Michigan educator continuing education requirements
