Job Description
Smart Chemical Solutions, a Texas-based company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Information Technology. We specialize in providing assessment and operations consulting to oil and gas operations, helping them increase their performance and profitability. As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of organizational operations. Your role will be pivotal in improving cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. You will collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Operations, and Accounting, to continue to grow and develop the company.
Responsibilities
- Direct the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of organizational operations.
- Develop computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, and processes for clinical business, finance continuity, computer services, and network communications.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to continue to grow and develop the company.
- Report to the CFO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Experience with QAD or modern ERP systems management is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, networks, databases, and information systems.
- Ability to set and manage multiple and high-profile priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with chemical treatment in oil industry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oil and gas operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting QAD ERP software.
- Strong technical skills and expertise in QAD ERP modules.
