Job Overview:
Responsible for communicating the features, advantages, and benefits of professional skincare products to improve brand visibility and generate sales. Product knowledge will be used to educate, demonstrate, promote, and make informed recommendations to patients on appropriate skincare products. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Duties:
- Make informed recommendations, explain products and product insights, perform product demonstrations, and assist patients in selecting appropriate skincare products.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by using marketing strategies delivered by the Sanctuary brand.
- Recommend full professional skincare regimens and post treatment products.
- Assist patients with purchase transactions including in the office, on the phone and occasionally online.
- Answer phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette.
- Protects patient confidentiality, making sure protected health information is secured by not leaving the information plain sight and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended.
- Provide assistance in e-commerce fulfillment process when needed.
- Provide exceptional service, ensuring patient satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Meet and/or exceed service and retail objectives as assigned.
- Sanitize and maintain a clean and organized work area and retail space.
- Promptly acknowledge and warmly greet each patient or guest entering the store.
- Offering friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous service that always takes priority over other related duties.
- Determine each patient’s needs and answer questions concerning products (partnering with management as needed).
- Recommend additional and complementary products and/or services based on patient interests or items already selected for purchase.
- Inform patients of current promotions, events and services of the practice.
- Serve multiple patients at one time while maintaining composure during busy or peak selling times.
- Ensure the store is replenished throughout the day and merchandising all products to Sanctuary standards on shelves and tables.
- Stay informed regarding new or existing products (e.g., their ingredients and benefits) to better serve patients.
- Support the leadership team as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and skin care representatives.
- Adherence to Sanctuary Dermatology’s dress code and other policies according to the Sanctuary Dermatology Employee Handbook.
- Due to the nature of this position, it is required that the incumbent is expected to present a professional, neat and clean appearance each day.

- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients and co-workers.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 5o pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, and stand/walk the sales floor.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
