First year potential total compensation is 75,000.
- Base: 30-36k, depending on experience
- First-year OTE at 100%, including base, commission, bonus, and expense allowance of 75,000. (approximate)
- Additional earning opportunities are uncapped

As our Outside Sales Executive, you enjoy making an impact to the community through the selling of Summit’s full line of office solutions, including multi-functional printers and copiers, label & receipt printers, wide format printers, business process automation software, and scanners.
Your core focus as Outside Sales Executive will be to generate new business and bring innovative, real-world solutions for our customers’ mailing, print and document management needs by helping them cut costs, secure documents, and reduce their environmental footprint.
Additionally, you will play a critical role in bringing cutting-edge office solutions to our customers, the local businesses, organizations, and institutions that are pillars of our communities.
What you'll do
- Attain digital office equipment and software solutions sales revenue and market share
- Manage your defined territory; achieve quotas via cold calling and self-generated leads
- Generate net new business through prospecting and a high conversion rate of warm leads from lead generation campaigns
- Partner with clients to understand and identify objectives and needs
- Align our current products and services where business opportunities exist
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients and deliver high levels of client care
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations
- Coordinating the terms of the sale and client training logistics
- Create and maintain a prospecting plan and conduct sales reporting
- Identify key areas of opportunity for new business.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry and trends that influence the marketplace
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel as required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required based on relevant sales experience
- One year of sales experience preferred; business-to-business environment is a plus
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience with a goal driven focus
- Demonstrated experience in cold calling and prospecting helpful
