We are looking for a passionate Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth by building strong relationships with dispensaries and other clients.
Job Overview:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and expanding the customer base for our wholesale cannabis products. This role involves identifying potential new clients, maintaining relationships with existing accounts, and representing our company and product line with professionalism and knowledge. You will be responsible for increasing sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing timely payment collection from clients within the regulated cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the client base across dispensaries and retail locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary buyers, managers, and other key decision-makers.
- Educate customers on our product line, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and extracts, and promote their unique qualities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to current and prospective clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a monthly basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to clients in coordination with the production and logistics teams.
- Attend tradeshows, vendor events, and industry networking opportunities to promote our products, generate leads, and build relationships with potential customers.
- Collect and follow up on outstanding payments from clients, ensuring that payment terms are met and that overdue accounts are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Track payment status and work closely with the accounting team to resolve any discrepancies or delays in client payments.
- Provide ongoing client support, address any issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the company and expand your professional network.
- Keep updated on cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the cannabis industry or another highly regulated field (e.g., pharmaceuticals, alcohol, tobacco).
- Strong understanding of cannabis products, including flower, extracts, concentrates, and edibles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Experience in managing payment collection and following up on outstanding invoices in a professional and effective manner.
- Experience attending tradeshows and vendor events to promote products and generate leads is a plus.
- Knowledge of Michigan cannabis laws and regulations is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
