Collect delinquent student loans to protect assets. Manual outbound collection attempts are initiated via auto-dialer. Initiate a small percentage of incoming calls.- Start date: January 13th, 2025
- Pay rate: $14.00 per hour. In addition, there is a commission plan of up to $1,250 per month.
- Training hours for the first 3 weeks: M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST
- Shift after training: M-F 11:30 am - 8:00 pm CST
- To be eligible for this role, you must reside within a 60-mile radius of Lincoln, NE, Brownsville, TX, or Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities
- Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy To Do Business With (ETDBW) philosophy
- Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement
- Contact borrowers via telephone, mail, and email to establish payment arrangements to rectify outstanding delinquencies on accounts
- Determine the most appropriate plan of action to resolve past due accounts. Strong negotiation will be used to establish borrower payment plans
- Provide pertinent account information and history information in order to educate the borrowers as to the seriousness of the issue at hand
- Update demographic and other additional information on borrower accounts via the servicing system
- Perform additional collection activities related to collections documents and reports
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
2 year customer service, collection and general work experience preferred.
