Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Sales Specialist for our Quebec and Atlantic MidMarket business. In this position, you will be leading Infrustructure Sales and customer solutions for this region in collaboration with a Client Manager and your extended team. This customer set is built on a mix of existing customers and acquisition in region. Focused on solutions that start at the Edge and span to the cloud to help your customers through their transformation journey. You will be responsible for leading your team in developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota. Consultative selling, technology selling, presentation, and communication skills are a must. This role is inside led with a mixture of Field and inside sales to address this scalable market. 60% of time will be spent over the phone, webinars and email campaigns with 40% face to face interaction.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Demonstrate ability selling Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions with Lenovo Business partners in to the Medium Enterprise space. This role will own the process, execution, and customer success in this space. Territory management in collaboration with Lenovo Client Managers, customer management and sales skills are a must.
  • Demonstrate excellence in the ability to drive Lenovo opportunities within core and acquisition prospects.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the I/T marketplace and can articulate the market dynamics in support of the benefits of advanced data center technologies.
  • Articulate Lenovo Infrastructure Solution benefits, strategic and technical offerings, and advantages relative to competitor offerings.
  • Possess strong knowledge and mastery of key elements of the selling process (i.e. strategic sales planning, extended resource engagement, etc).
  • Must have the ability to deliver the business value of Lenovo solutions, develop customer and partner relationships, and expand on existing customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of working with customer influencers calling on key decision makers at all levels of the account.
  • Be an aggressive self-starter; little supervision required and be able to position "end-to-end" solutions and articulate Lenovo product and service strategies to senior customer executives.
  • Negotiate solutions with peers, management, senior executives, and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
  • Pipeline and CRM management is a must.


Basic Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or industry experience equivalent
  • Sales representative with 2+ years of proven experience selling computer or related technologies.
  • Must have strong English writing and communication skills.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven track record in leading and winning Server, Storage, services business.
  • Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in working with Channel partners and infrastructure technology partners including AMD, Nutanix, Intel, Microsoft, etc.
  • Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencing CxOs, IT Directors, Systems Managers, IT Managers, etc.
  • Understanding of cloud and transformational consumption models for customers.
  • Strong solutions focused selling expertise for specific technologies based around a combination of Application, Server, Virtualization, Networking and Storage technologies.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of competitors and the best sales strategy to compete against them including HP, Cisco, Dell, Supermicro, etc.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and lead Sales engagements with Lenovo’s partners.
  • Preference for candidate who has knowledge and existing relationships with the reseller channel.
