Job Description

Based in the Inland Empire and covering both Riverside and Orange County, our rapidly expanding Solar company is at the forefront of promoting sustainable and eco-friendly energy solutions. We are on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives. This key position involves leading and expanding our sales team, enhancing business development through all creative strategies, and creating innovative strategies to attract new business.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate effective marketing strategies for the sales team.
  • Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting, sales activity tracking, and follow-up actions.
  • Train the team on delivering interactive sales presentations focusing on eco-friendly and sustainable products and services.
  • Provide guidance on lead management and self-generated referral processes.
  • Conduct door-to-door sales training.
  • Train team members on negotiating contracts and financial agreements with customers.
  • Act as both a player and a coach, leading by example in sales efforts.
  • Assist in creating training materials and programs for sales development.
  • Offer remote work flexibility, with responsibilities both from home and on the road.
  • Explain the benefits of solar sustainable energy to customers with clarity and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

  • Proven solar sales experience.
  • Experience leading a team of 5 to 10 employees.
  • Strong public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
  • A self-motivated and competitive personality, driven by sales success.
  • Ambition to grow and develop as a leader.
  • A strong sense of team camaraderie and the ability to foster it within the team.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed.
  • Ideally familiar with solar panels, inverters, and financing options for potential clientele.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $60,000 to $75,000 annually.
  • A commission structure with uncapped earnings.
  • Paid time off.
