JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

Position Overview: AWISCO is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative. Based at our headquarters in Maspeth, NY, this role will focus on driving sales through proactive engagement with customers, providing expert product knowledge, and delivering exceptional service. (This is an in-person, store-based position).

Key Responsibilities:

· Proactively engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

· Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using the company's sales systems.

· Provide product information, pricing, and technical support to customers as needed.

· Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and returns, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.

· Daily upkeep and maintenance of the store including product replenishment and updating price tags.

· Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues.

· Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

· Identify sales leads and follow up on inquiries.

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of welding and industrial supplies is preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 41.5 per week
