Software Test Automation Lead

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Automation Lead to oversee and guide both manual and automated testing teams in ensuring the reliability and performance of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) applications. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of testing strategies, maintaining high-quality test documentation, and actively participating in key test events. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring efficient workflows, delivering robust software solutions, and meeting functional user requirements.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who will:

Lead and mentor teams in manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Develop, execute, and refine test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for PPBE systems.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of all test documentation, including test strategies, plans, and results.
Participate actively in test events, providing expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Monitor and analyze testing metrics to drive continuous improvement in testing practices and tools.
Stay up to date with emerging testing technologies and methodologies, applying them to improve the testing process.

If this describes you, then hopefully you also have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering degree or similar technical degree preferred, exceptional candidates with post high school education and relevant experience may be considered;
Strong understanding of the Oracle Hyperion technology stack and functional user requirements.
Proven experience with software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality results.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestComplete) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.

Other Requirements:

Able to attain a DoD Secret Clearance.
