We offer furnace and air duct cleaning, indoor air quality testing, dryer vent cleaning, and air purification equipment for homes and businesses including offices, retail, property management companies, restoration companies, schools, hospitals, industry and more. We are seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join our growing Sales Team working from our Victoria Office.

As a Commercial Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to create new accounts in a dedicated market territory within a business-to-business (B2B) environment while also maintaining close working relationships with existing clients. The successful candidate has proven sales ability and is an internally motivated self-starter who is hungry to win and looking to grow.

Previous IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) experience is not required, but if you are willing to learn and have a passion for building strong relationships, driving sales, and delivering awesome customer service – this is the place for you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with honesty and integrity no matter what
  • Identifying opportunities, generating leads, seeking out key decision makers, providing quotes, and closing deals
  • Chasing and achieving sales targets every single day
  • Being detailed and disciplined in daily tasks, reports and schedules
  • Creating a true connection with each customer and establishing a solid relationship foundation on behalf of Modern PURAIR
  • Regular communication and teamwork with our Operations Team to do what it takes to serve our clients with a safety first focus every time
  • Working closely with the General Manager and other stakeholders to set sales targets, report on progress, and celebrate wins
  • Building relationships with other Modern PURAIR franchises to keep current on industry trends and learn how they are winning
  • Networking through local organizations, community events, and industry events to develop relationships and represent the brand professionally
  • Maintaining a positive appearance and performance of tasks to the high standards of a premium service
  • Performing walkthroughs with our clients to assess job requirements and provide accurate job quotes
  • Creating deals that generate revenue and set our technicians up for success
  • Educating our clients through explanations and guidance of our services and products so they can properly make decisions
  • Thanking our clients for their loyalty and support through handwritten thank you cards, business lunches, and more
  • Following the PURAIR Way (our proven systems for success) utilizing standardized procedures, reports, software and technology

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Driving sales growth and closing deals is what fulfills you and relentlessly stokes your fire!
  • You are a reliable team player who is comfortable working alone and is independently motivated to succeed
  • You are friendly and confident with very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that enable you to connect quickly with customers
  • You have strong experience in sales, leadership in a sales environment, or other relevant results driven experience
  • You are tech-savvy, you adopt new technology fast and have strong experience working with Excel, Salesforce, HubSpot or other similar applications
  • You have experience or education in forecasting, reporting, estimating, pricing, margin management, P&L responsibilities, RFP’s, or other relevant business experience
  • You are continuously developing your skills to succeed and increase your earning potential
  • You are driven, goal-orientated and extremely organized and detailed
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and also the ability to follow systems to a T
  • You are passionate about closing the sale and do not give up
  • You are dedicated to exceptional customer service and putting the customer first
  • You have a clean drivers abstract and able to pass a criminal background check
  • You are proactive, patient and disciplined in your day-to-day activities
  • You have goals to accomplish outside of work
  • You are coachable and eager to learn and grow your skills
  • You are the first one to put your hand up and say “How can I help?”
