We are seeking a professional sales representative who is mechanically inclined and who can effectively communicate technical details to clients. This position will be offered with specialized training as a foundation for success, ensuring the representative is well-equipped with the industry and product knowledge to build confidence with customers.
All State Crane & Rigging is a family-owned, full-service company offering crane rental, operation, and heavy equipment hauling. Benefits are offered immediately upon hire.
Job Description Highlights:
· Develop and implement strategies and tactics to maintain and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term customer loyalty and identifying new opportunities for account expansion.
· Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute annual sales plans, with a focus on meeting set objectives, driving consistent growth & revenue.
· Communicate & maintain relationships with new and existing customers to uncover their needs.
· Proven experience in overcoming common customer objections in technical sales, such as budget constraints, equipment compatibility, and competitor comparisons, by providing logical, persuasive responses grounded in product expertise and industry insight.
· Prepare accurate, competitive estimates, and customized proposals that align with each client’s unique project needs and timelines. Focus on demonstrating the value of our crane solutions, ensuring that proposals clearly address customer objectives and stand out from competitors.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with our team and customers by providing consistent communication, updates on project progress, and solutions to meet client needs.
· Ability to evaluate market trends, track performance metrics, capture new opportunities, and adjust strategies to optimize results throughout the sales cycle.
· Skilled in assessing job sites to recommend the safest and most effective methods for project execution, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in crane operations.
· Keep CRM software up-to-date with accurate customer data, sales activities, and pipeline progress, providing management with visibility into sales performance and client interactions.
· Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings, sharing updates, insights, and contributing to team strategies for goal achievement by working collaboratively in a team setting.
· Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage deadlines effectively, ensuring all team members are informed and aligned with customer expectations.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
· Associates degree or sufficient experience.
· Experience preferably in construction, industrial, or commercial sales.
· Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, quote & schedule jobs.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Computer/technical literacy.
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details effectively to diverse audiences—from field technicians to senior executives.
