BIOTRONIK is hiring a dedicated Financial Analyst, Rebates to join our Contracts, Pricing & Rebates Administration team!


About the team: The Contracts, Pricing & Rebates Administration team manages rebates calculation and reporting for all business divisions across Biotronik. We provide a strategic partnership with our business partners by developing and processing rebates plans that align with company goals in driving growth. We strive for accuracy, timeliness, and reaching several channels to execute on all our processes, while also providing insightful analysis and data to the various groups we support.


About the role: This role requires a results-oriented and organized candidate determined to be a subject matter expert for rebate processes and the software used in the implementation. This person will thrive with change, dive into solving new problems, utilize a hands-on approach and enjoy working in an innovative, fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Contracts, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal teams to ensure accurate rebate calculations and results
  • Read, understand, and translate contractual agreements into incentive calculations
  • Compiles, calculates, and processes rebate and admin fee payouts for customers
  • Creates, reviews, and analyzes data to summarize findings for Management
  • General understanding of customer incentive practices and trends
  • Set up and maintain rebate agreements, including the management of rebates records and documentation
  • Become a process subject matter expert
  • Perform research and analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies related to various financial and/or business partner requirements
  • Cross-train to run month-end rebate calculations, including calculating certain manual adjustments and reconciling payments
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and other analysis related projects

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or other relevant technical fields (Sciences/Mathematics)
  • At least two years of experience performing general analyst duties
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation, time-management and organizational skills
  • General sales analysis skills with the ability to understand contractual agreements
  • Ability to work well under pressure; good time management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proven experience using Word, Excel, and other related software programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to work with all levels of management, co-workers, customers, and outside agencies professionally and tactfully, both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • SAP and Salesforce experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Rebates Specialist or Programmer or similar role
  • Experience with and ability to think in terms of computer programming logic
  • Experience in Vistex (SAP), Salesforce, SQL or similar
  • Experience with analytics tools (Qlik, Tableau or similar)

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

If working remotely, the job should operate in an appropriate work area that considers ergonomics, equipment, noise and potential disruptions. The remote workspace should provide an adequate work area, lighting, telephone and internet service, power and temperature control.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on time zone supported. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
