District Sales Manager (Southern Ontario)

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-focused, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Role Overview: As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting potential clients, and closing sales deals. You will be the face of our company, interacting with clients on a day-to-day basis, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. These plans involve sales routing, cold-calling, B2B selling, and providing sales presentations.
- Maintain and support existing client portfolio, foster organic growth for existing clients, and perform regular account reviews.
- Build rapport with and conduct proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our products/services.
- Negotiate terms of service contracts with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and profitability.
- Drive a designated route to execute strategic sales plans, including calling on prospective clients and providing service calls for existing clients.
- Analyzing consumer behavior and collaborating with the internal departments to remain competitive and improve our offerings.
- Maintaining sales records and presenting management with regular updates through use of CRM software, Microsoft Teams, and other technology.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure efficient customer services, as well as resolving complaints.
- Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track progress and performance against goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role; automotive, powersports, marine, recreational vehicle, or finance experience (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
- Availability to work extended business hours, including weekends.
- College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Expectations:
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets as outlined by management.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and expertise.
- Continuously seek out new leads and opportunities for business development.
- Maintain strong connection and understanding of existing client’s performance.
- Responding to e-mails, Teams messages, and defined forms of communication in a timely fashion.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Driving to prospective clients and existing clients business operations using personal vehicle – anticipated travel in this role ranging roughly 40,000-80,000 kms annually.
- Adapt to changes in market conditions and customer preferences.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Compensation: Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary with additional commission and bonuses that can significantly increase earnings. Top performers in this role have the potential to earn well above six figures annually.
