In support of our growth, we are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to join our team. This role is critical in driving sales productivity, optimizing processes, and providing analytical support to the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, a keen understanding of data analytics, and exceptional project management skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Engages directly with sales teams to drive strategic account planning and provides recommendations for decision making required to ensure our organization achieves sales goals.
- Provides revenue and performance reporting/analysis for business reviews and builds the necessary reports/sales tools in addition to ad hoc analytics related to accounts and product lines to track performance against objectives.
- Assists with driving behavioral changes with the sales team to maximize selling results and overall profitability by driving internal improvements and efficiencies within the broader sales team.
- In conjunction with our CRM manager, create/maintain Salesforce dashboards, create/run reports, export data and present findings.
- Identifies, validates, and executes opportunities for sales performance improvements and writes standard work & procedures as applicable.
- Responsible for gathering and managing market and competitive data from various sources. Synthesizing that data to build a picture of the current market and future trends.
Requirements
Professional Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented mindset, outstanding presentations skills, ability to “tell a story” using data.
- Focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
