Job Description
As a Dealer Sales Representative, you will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with retail accounts locally within the Phoenix or Las Cruces area. Through relationship management with retail store personnel along with key decision makers at the corporate level offices; you will provide beneficial sales support that will help them grow their business with PPG. You will report directly to the Regional Dealer Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.
- Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).
- Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
- Utilize ClientLink CRM tool to handle accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
- Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
- Use initiative in handling customer problems, complaints and warranty issues to resolve in a timely manner.
- Prioritize/conduct dealer/end-user education and product information seminars.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience calling on retailers.
- Minimum education High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree in business related field strongly preferred.
- Coatings or building industry related knowledge is strong preferred.
- Digital literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required and CRM software experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
