Sales Development Representative – Industrial Safety & Construction Sales (Entry Level)

Overview:
As a Sales Development Represenative at SupplyNow, you will play a key role in driving sales for industrial safety and janitorial solutions. Working with a portfolio of mid-size accounts and industry-specific groups, you’ll be responsible for supporting and expanding relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Drive sales and growth within an assigned portfolio of accounts, focusing on industrial safety and construction customers.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, providing regular support and service to ensure their needs are met.
- Performance Tracking: Prepare and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to customers to demonstrate success and areas for improvement.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide ongoing reports to customers and collaborate with branches to ensure timely and effective service.
- Customer Support: Assist in identifying and resolving customer challenges to maintain high satisfaction levels and improve business outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a sales-focused environment. The following qualifications are required:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Safety, Construction, or a related field, OR 2+ years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, or the industrial sector.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-Centric: A strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, planning, and prioritization abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make decisions with confidence.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to team goals.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move products ranging from 25-50 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
