Job Description
$54,500 - $62,500 yearly
Responsibilities:- Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals
- Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders
- Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances
- Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs
- Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients
- Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole
- Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed
- Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory
- Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
