Position Summary

As a member of the Brandt Meat’s Sales Team, the Regional Account Manager will act as a company representative for Ontario small banners as well as food service accounts. As well, they will be responsible for achieving annual volume targets associated with the assigned categories within assigned accounts.

The Ontario Sales Representative is a full-time role located in Mississauga, ON.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing regional portfolio in independent retail with key focus on smaller Ontario chains & food service trade (direct & via distributors).
  • Build relationships with customers and distributor sales team to promote products or services, negotiate sales prices, contact & visit customers throughout the sales process and answer any questions customers have about the products.
  • Manage the current roster and new opportunities with the Brandt and third-party products.
  • Properly manage time and deadlines while balancing multiple projects/ priorities.
  • Create and Manage the Sales Budget, Forecasting, and Pricing.
  • Conduct monthly sales reports for customers (Retail & Food Service) so that monthly sales targets are being met.

Qualifications

  • 3 years sales experiences- Food industry experience considered a strong asset.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of the Ontario market is required.
  • Experience creating and managing the Budget, Gross Profit, P/L, Pricing
  • Ability to analyse market trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle.
