Job Description
We are looking for a few enthusiastic Business Development Managers to generate sales by cold calling and utilizing current clients as referrals. They will be responsible for influencing existing and potential customer to utilize our products. To be successful you must be friendly, persuasive, knowledgeable, and consistent. The goal is to promote our business growth by expanding our company’s clientele.
These position are full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Candidates will be required to work daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our office in Long Beach, CA. . It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Great attendance is expected for all positions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contacting potential clients (cold calling, email, text) to introduce our products and setup a demo with key decision makers within their organization.
- Go through existing or older leads to see if there are opportunities for current needs
- Use scripts to provide information about our products features, prices and present their benefits
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customers requirements/pain points.
- Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information and notating CRM
- Communicate and collaborate with members and providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding
- Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: activity, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction and attendance
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Must be comfortable working with different operating systems on computers and phones.
- Must demonstrate patience with novice users.
- Participate in special projects and system testing as required
Requirements:
- Prefer 3 years experience in sales preferably in cold calling, and prospecting
- Accomplish 75 calls per day which will require a combination of strategic planning, disciplined execution, and unwavering determination.
- Knowledge or experience within the SaaS environment
- Experience or understanding in the auto industry strongly preferred.
- An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and learning new computer programs
- Ability to multi-task duties as well as the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
- Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed
Bonus Skills
- Automotive Dealership experience
- Understanding of SaaS preferably in a SaaS environment
- Prior Business Development Manager experience a plus
- GoTo Meeting and Zoho experience a plus
