About you:
You’re a self-starter, a persuasive salesperson, and have deep interest in interior design. You’re driven by success and have a principled approach to work. For you, success is more than meeting sales targets. It’s about building trust and having your customer’s best interests in mind.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid understanding of our products and solutions
- Cultivate strong relationships with interior designers within your territory
- Educate key decision makers at interior design firms by conducting product knowledge presentations and hosting lunch and learns
- Stock interior design firms’ libraries with the latest product samples and remove outdated samples
- Represent Capital Tile in a positive manner when attending trade shows and sales meetings, as well as making weekly sales calls to current and prospective customers
- Maintain accurate and timely project records. Report sales forecasts to the sales director on a regular basis. Keep order desk and project coordinators abreast of project status and sales order progress.
- Adhere to Capital Tiles’ processes, policies, and standard of service
- Provide high level customer service by generating and managing specifications
- Communicate with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and capture feedback
- Monitor competitive landscape and make recommendations on how Capital Tile can gain a competitive edge
- Proactively stay up to date on the latest products, technical knowledge, merchandising techniques and interior design trends. Share this knowledge with the purchasing department to help inform product strategy decisions and procurement
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in sales preferred, but not mandatory
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well independently
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Detail oriented, disciplined, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
