In the role of a Tax Accountant, you will utilize your expertise in accounting, tax experience, and financial concepts to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations. Your proficiency in GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, and accounting software will be essential in managing financial data effectively. With premium skills in estate planning, SOX, and financial auditing, you will provide strategic tax planning and analysis. Your relevant skills in mergers & acquisitions, financial report writing, and QuickBooks will further enhance your ability to support the organization's financial goals. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in tax preparation.
- Excellent knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with senior management
- Strong reconciliation and analysis skills.
- Must be a team player and be willing to work over-time (including weekends) when necessary.

- Meticulous attention to detail. Must be thorough and accurate.
- High integrity with a strong work ethic.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors’ degree required.
- CPA not required but it would be expected that they are working towards this goal.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- File the Colorado and Delaware Annual Reports and pay Delaware Franchise Tax.
- Submit the FINCEN Beneficial Ownership Report (BOI).
- File and pay Real and Personal Property Taxes.
- File and pay State and City Sales Tax and keep the sales tax licenses updated.
- Prepare and file 1099 Forms, including 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC.
- Ensure timely payment of withholding taxes and prepare 1042 Form filings.
- Monitor intercompany agreements and transactions to prepare Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation.
- Assist with the Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) process with headquarters
- Prepare Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings, including:
- Tax provision.
- Quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Tax return and filing extension.
- Conduct annual tax credit studies for CIT, including:
- R&D Credit Study.
- Section 174 Study.
- UNICAP Study.
- Advanced Manufacturing Production Credit (AMPC - 45X).
- State and City-level credits (EZ Certification, Training Credit, Donations).
- Support Korean expatriate individual income tax returns.
- Research tax laws and regulations for various issues.
- Respond to tax-related inquiries from internal and external sources.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
