Travel Full Time School Occupational Therapist Contract Job in San Bernardino, CA

• Location: San Bernardino, CA
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 7th
• Hours: Full-time, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
• Caseload:
• K-12th grade
• Approximately 50 students
• Work Setting: Onsite

Pay: $45 per hour

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding opportunity in a school setting? Join our team in San Bernardino, CA, for a full-time position working with students from kindergarten to 12th grade. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address students' unique needs and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' participation and success in academic and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and communication with stakeholders.
• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and other collaborative discussions to support student learning and progress.

Requirements:

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a school-based Occupational Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, practices, and interventions.
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of abilities.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
