Job Description

Job Overview:
As the Sales Administrator you will coordinate with the sales team to track and input information into company databases to assist in the creation of sales quotes. Work at the direction of the Sales Manager and other related personnel to ensure accuracy of customer information, to ensure timely and efficient communication with customers, vendors and outside service providers.

Responsibilities:
· Collect documentation and prepare customer files including drawings, parts lists, and other related information.
· Participate in project kick off meetings to gather and organize needed information.
· Communicate with vendors and outside partners to get quotes for materials and services.
· Identify customer required submittals and work with team members to meet submittal schedule.
· Input data into a variety of databases including ERP System, Excel sheets, as well as customer portals and other related online systems.
· Input repeat sales orders and distribute the required information to complete the order.
· Identify opportunities for improvements in data flow and information tracking.
· Ensure adherence to safety rules and practices.

Experience and Education:
· 3-5 years of administrative experience preferably in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
· Associate degree in business, Communications or Manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and all Microsoft Office software; Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
· Ability to keep a running list of projects well organized.
· Strong professional communication skills both verbal and written with high level contacts inside and outside of the company.
· Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and ability to input and control data within.
· Be able to research and identify opportunities for best prices for services and materials as required per project.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
· Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documentation such as blueprints, parts lists and other related documentation highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
