Irrigation Sales Representative

Duties:

  • Conduct outside sales activities to generate new leads and expand customer base
  • Traveling around the province to meet with customers in order to see their project location and details and expand awareness of company's offerings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and account management
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and business development strategies
  • Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Present product information, demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to maximize sales and profitability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery of products/services
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process
  • Ongoing skill improvement and product learning

Skills:

  • Proven experience in outside sales or a related field
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for managing customer interactions and sales activities
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present information and negotiate with clients
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive for achieving targets and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of hydrodynamics and fluid systems would be an asset
  • Knowledge of high horsepower pumps would be an asset

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

  • irrigation: 1 year (preferred)
