The position of Inside Sales Representative- Aftermarket Parts at Aqua-Chem is responsible for locating, analyzing, and submitting quotes to existing customers for repair and replacement parts. Works closely with both national and international distributor base. Proactively searching for new business with new and existing clients.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: On-site; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties
- Responsible for providing customer service to existing customers by providing analysis of data and providing ills, technical/maintenance relationship skills (evaluating technical data), analytical skills and customer service skills.
- Manages customer base, following up and providing quotes to customers as requested.
- Receives, edits, and analyzes both standard and complex repair and replacement parts quotes and orders.
- Ensures compliance with drawings, specifications, and other customer requirements, and completes/corrects missing information.
- Revises quotes and orders as required to facilitate processing.
- Review orders for completeness, specifications, and accuracy of part numbers and prices.
- Regular contact with customer to clarify information when necessary.
- Responsible for entering orders, securing shipping, answering technical questions, and customer negotiations,
- Reviews customer and shipping information to facilitate delivery.
- Inputs order information into parts ordering system.
- May assist with the processing of more complex parts orders under the direction of senior parts analysts.
- Position requires travel to customer locations and trade shows from time to time.
- Use of discretion and independent judgment to secure the sales of commercial aftermarket parts both nationally as well as internationally.
- Proactive selling to existing customer base as well as to new customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, two-year higher education preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to work overtime as required.
Experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Access
- Three (3) to Five (5) years in a sales and customer service environment preferred
