The Sr. Manager of Product Compliance will partner with the Sr. Director of Product Compliance to guide the compliance team in the preparation of regulatory filings, reports, and submittals in different countries. This position will report to the Richardson, Texas office and will work a hybrid schedule.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
- Guide compliance team in the preparation of regulatory filings, reports, and submittals in different countries. Identify potential compliance risks and manage opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Enable effective communication of regional and global product requirements to the various Business units.
- Coordinate efforts between Engineering, Procurement, Product Management, Sales, and Quality to implement proactive product compliance programs starting from product design to efficient supplier data collection.
- Plan, design, and lead implementation of product compliance programs facilitating compliance of company products to various regional legislations around the world for Hazardous substances, Environmental and recycling.
- Manage global product compliance team comprising of 6 or more product compliance engineers all over the globe.
- Responsible for EU ROHS, EU REACH and EU WEEE compliance process for company products.
- Ensure process and procedure is in place for compliance, starting from supplier data through design and manufacturing to sales and shipments globally.
- Manage global supplier requirements and communication.
- Support the company's Corporate Sustainability strategy and programs.
- Assist Global Engineering in selection of green materials and compliant products.
- Work with regional NGOs and Industry Organizations in Europe and UK to identify emerging substance regulations that would affect company products and provide compliance action plan to BUs.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Masters in related curriculum such as Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Experience with people management and coaching.
- Ability to interpret of electronic product related regulations and chemical substance restrictions globally.
- Experience with project and program management.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
