The agency owner will be present in the office, and we're seeking local candidates who have the ability to work from home as well as work occasionally in-office.


As a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative at The Ellison Group Insurance Agency, you'll be part of a team that values positivity, training, and a customer-centric approach. Your base salary will start at $31,200. With our competitive bonus structure, reps in a year can make additional bonuses for new policies sold, with the potential to make over $61,800 in their first year.

Responsibilities

  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, warm leads, internet leads, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Skillfully address client objections and concerns, utilizing a consultative approach to provide solutions and overcome objections, ultimately securing their confidence and trust in our services.
  • Use exceptional relationship-building skills to establish trust with clients and maintain retention and product loyalty.
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas determined by management and grows sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and potential client lists.
  • Collaborate with the agency owner to strategize and gather essential information to help build sales revenue.
  • Proactively follow up on existing and new leads, working towards lead conversion.
  • Effectively handle calls, providing assistance with quotes, and closing business deals.

Requirements
  • An Active Michigan Property and Casualty License is Required.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is required
  • Ambitious self-starter who can work in a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to achieving individual and team objectives, consistently seeking opportunities for growth and improvement in pursuit of our agency's success.
  • Collaborate with team members through concise and professional written and verbal communication, promoting effective teamwork and client service excellence.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
