The Business Development Senior Manager is responsible and accountable for promoting SITA FOR AIRCRAFT’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) services and products. Candidate will be tasked with uncovering, pursuing and closing multi-million-dollar deals in the Americas. This position is meant for an established professional that can deliver results in a dynamic environment. You will report directly to the Vice-President, Commercial – Americas and Europe.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified, active ATC opportunities and manage them to close, so to deliver millions of dollars of yearly business growth.
- Bring ATC subject matter expertise and business acumen of our customers’ business processes and engage in a consultative selling approach throughout the course of a deal.
- Accurately capture and report all aspects of account and opportunity information within a sales force automation application. Accurately report on forecast/pipeline.
- In collaboration with our marketing team, feed and communicate customer case studies or other success stories by showing where and how ATC services or solutions were implemented and the commercial/operational value SITA brought to the customer.
- Work to raise prospect awareness and consideration through presentations, webinars and other outreach events.
- Increase the number and frequency of interactions, as well as build trusted relationships, with key customer and industry personnel especially executive buyers, business partners, and industry associations.
- In conjunction with marketing and sales enablement, develop sales playbooks that provide current, relevant and customized sales content by adapting value propositions, case studies or ROI examples to prospects' needs.
- Expertise in business development, sales, contract negotiation
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the ATC domain is absolutely mandatory (Air Navigation Providers such as FAA, Nav Canada, DECEA, etc.)
- English/Spanish/Portuguese proficiency is mandatory
- Willingness to work in a multi-cultural and highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in a management role or customer facing position and establishing customer relationships
- Outstanding external and internal communication skills
- Strong consultative approach
- Commercially minded, driven by results
- At ease dealing with high-paced commercial environment
- Team player
