We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by selling our products or services in the field. This is remote work positions, with no fixed hours. Sales professionals would likely want to take a call from a customer ANYTIME the customer calls. We do however encourage a healthy work/life culture.
- Experience with technical sales or previous experience in food safety/food equipment industry
- Candidate would have a technical aptitude - potentially an education in automation/robotics or
- Food Safety or Business with technical aptitude Self starter, driven, independent worker, focusing on someone looking for long term development
Primary Accountabilities
- Sales activities within the framework of our sales, turnover, and profitability targets
- Acquisition of new customers as well as the exploitation of growth potential of existing customers
- Technical knowledge and appropriate marketing of our products and services (eg. Metal Detection, X-ray Inspection, Magnetic Separation Systems)
- Cooperation with customers and product management regarding product selection and product customization
- Cooperation and support of our sales partners in the sales territory
- Representation of the company
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Sales territory experience in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba are of advantage
- Industry experience, ideally with an industry-specific network
- Qualifications and a successful track record in sales paired with at least 3 years of professional experience
- Confident and winning appearance
- Distinct willingness to travel (± 50%, incl. overnight travel)
- Personal responsibility and "winning-drive"
- Respectful and appreciative communication style, enthusiasm, and ability to work in an amazing team
